1. Information We Collect

Account: email, display name, avatar, and authentication provider data (e.g. Google).
Content: spots, reports, photos, trips, shot plans, and bookings you create.
Payments: handled by Stripe — we receive transaction metadata, not full card numbers.
Usage: request logs, device info, and approximate location when you opt in to live features.

2. How We Use It

To operate the Service, personalize results, process payments, prevent abuse, send transactional emails (e.g. magic links, booking confirmations), and improve features.

3. Sharing

We share data with processors that run the platform: Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, auth), Stripe (payments), and email delivery providers. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data to comply with law.

4. Cookies & Storage

We use cookies and local storage for sessions, preferences, and analytics. You can clear them at any time in your browser.

5. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data. Email support@hotspot.app to make a request. Residents of the EEA/UK/California have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA.

6. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and operational needs.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected vulnerabilities to security@hotspot.app.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
